My favorite band is Skid Row.
 
I became a fan of them a year ago, so I'm far away from the original line-up, but that's my favorite line-up. Sebastian Bach on vocals, Scotti Hill and Dave Sabo on guitars, Rachel Bolan on bassguitar and Rob Affuso on drums.
 
Dave and Rachel knew eachother from a music store and Rachel knew Scotti and Dave knew Rob. They heard Sebastian sing on a wedding and they send him a tape. Sebastian first didn't wanted to join the band but he thought they sounded great, so he joined the band. Dave and Rachel already wrote the songs. After 1 year, they got signed with Atlantic Label Records and they realeased their first selftitled debutalbum at 24-01-1989 and they toured with bands like; Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and Cinderella. On 01-01-1991 they released their Slave To The Grind album, which was lots heavier then their first album. They stayed on the road for 14 months and toured trough the whole world. On 22-09-1992 Skid Row released their album B-Side Ourselves; This album contains covered songs. On 28-03-1995 Skid Row released their final album with Sebastian Bach on vocals called sUBHUMAN rACE. The sUBHUMAN rACE tOUR also started this year. The original line-up did their last show in 1996, that was the last show they did with vocalist Sebastian Bach. They fired him after a fight and drummer Rob Affuso also left. Rachel, Dave and Scotti are the only original remaining members of the band and replace Sebastian Bach for singer Johnny Solinger and Rob Affuso for Dave Gara. In 1998 Skid Row released their Greatest Hits album without permission from Sebastian Bach, but using his voice on the songs. Sebastian goes his own way with starting a new band and making and covering songs. Rob also started a more bluesy jazz band and also goes his own way. The boys are all doing fine, wait up Sebastian's new album called Angel Down.
